This Sirius Slander Will NOT be Tolerated (pt 2 of posting Meta Ranking Lists)

Ts is just sad bro. He said in the post that he is not joking about the list and it's meant to be taken Sirius.

If I have to be super honest, I don't mind seeing him rank low, it makes him look weak and bad (when in relaityz if he's in the right hands, he can absolutely carry the team NO MATTER the match-up) , which means less Sirius's in games overall, meaning that he can be sort of a hidden gem.

Be brutally honest: Is Sirius hate actually deserved? (5 min read)

Disclaimer: I'm saying this as someone who mains Sirius and has reached Prestige III playing almost exclusively with random teammates (no win trading or coordinated pushing). I'm fully aware that this might make me biased, but I'm genuinely trying to look at both sides.

___________________________________________________________

I feel like if you Main / Play Sirius you instantly get a label of an annoying / no skill r3tard. I get it that this game is filled with 10 year olds saying literally whatever comes to their mind, in most cases without filter or second thought, but that's still in some way an opinion for this brawler.

Either way, I have a few "theories" on why this happens:

  1. The First Impressions / "Broken Version of Sirius" Trauma: On Release Sirius was a monster, I can't lie, being able to just land attacks and summon Frankenstein versions of the brawlers that you hit, all for free, is kinda ridiculous. Not to mention all of the unexpected teamwipes your shadows couledv done on their own (due to your opponents getting just straight up get overran by your army). Now when you think about a brawler like Sirius, you will in most scenario's think about his broken release version of him.

  2. Unfair / Anoying match-up scenario's: Let's say you where playing any single projectile attack brawlers (I forgot the actual name for this term, but it's a group of brawlers that fire off a single projectile at their enemy for an attack, not being able to pierce and hit multiple grouped enemies or damage more than one of them at a time), for example Meeple, and your facing off against a Sirius. If he just farms 1 or 2 shadows from your teammates, and decides to target your lane, he can just press the yellow button and force you to retreat if you dont want to feed him even more shadows. Which is REALLY annoying I can't lie. Those situations happen a lot, and yeah, they feel really unfair, but you have to accept the fact that thats literally his job, to push you back with his ammo-consuming minions and control the map.

  3. The "No Skill" part of Sirius: Most of the people I encountered that have some passionate hate for Sirius always say the same thing, and that it's "no skill to play him because 50% of his kit is revolved around letting your bots do the work for you". And yeah, you can argue that those individuals only auto-aim Sirius's ult (I call it ult yeah) and no wonder they say that, but it's not 100% far from truth. Now I will say, you won't hear this from a person who is not just a casual, because first of all, many players only experience the first layer of the brawler, taking things on the surface level value, meaning that if they get just a glimpse of the brawler and his powers, they already have an opinion on him, even though most of the time it's not correctly built. And I think this leads directly into my next point. Most opinions about Sirius aren't formed by people who actually play him-they're formed by people who have to play against him

  4. People judge Sirius by playing against him, not by playing him: I think this is probably the biggest reason behind his reputation. Most players don't actually play enough Sirius to understand his strengths and weaknesses-they judge him based on the experience of facing him. And Sirius is one of those brawlers that can feel extremely frustrating to play against even when he isn't necessarily overpowered.

So here's my final question (that you need to answer as honest as possible), which is:

" If Sirius had released exactly as he is TODAY, do you think he would still have the same reputation? "

Thats all from me, thank you for the time, let me know your opinion on this, no matter the length, because honestly even the smallest reply matters. Have a blessed dayyy.

Are we Siriusly pretending he's only a B tier brawler now?

Do y'all also think that he fell off this hard, or is it something else? I honestly still think that he's still really good, not just as a last pick, but an out-of-pocket good pick on closed / choke point oriented maps, no matter the gamemode. Seeing him rank lower than mfking KIT is just absurd.

My take on his low/mid ranking is it's due to the disgusting buffies that where released, which made some brawlers get ranked insanely higher that they are supposed to be.

This is actually Huuggee News for people who don't have every cosmetic for Sirius..

As someone who got Sirius from his event and forgot to spend the rest of his tickets in order to get progression and his pins and sprays, this is a life saver..

If y'all don't know what I'm talking about, these two sprays are only obtainable via Sirius boxes (in his release event) and now that they added the new visible changes to cosmetics regarding their availability in the oddities shop, you can see the text saying that they have a chance to appear in the shop!

Why can't supercell just sit down and take some notes from the community???😭 (click on the image to see in the full size!! )

I saw these skins in a vid so I don't know the original creators of them, that did an INSANE job, absolutely peak villain asthetics that fit Sirius so well (my absolute favorite is the Void inspired one).

Let me know y'all's thoughts on them and which one is your favorite! 🌟

W or L nano power?

Saw it yesterday and wanted to see y'all's thoughts since I'm a little 50/50 on it. While watching the vid, I of course saw some really broken ones, similar to the mutations, that are way more aggressive and have a bigger damage and control output. Rate it 1/10, but for me personally, (since I will try to Prestige III-im this season, I'd say it's a 5/10.
