Kaiju Knockout is Coming Soon!
Hey there folks! I posted a poll for my ttrpg of the month last month and y'all chose Kaiju Battler! Well, now I'm back with an update!
I set out to create a Kaiju battler and ended up coming up with a bit of a double experience! The game, Kaiju Knockout, will take place in a city of the player's creation that exists on an 8x8 grid - also known as a chess board! That's right! I found a way to use one of the other poll options!
The players will play citizens of this city with a powerful ability: to control a group of Kaiju who live on an island off shore. The game itself will start with you playing out your character's lives until an immense Kaiju shows up looking to destroy the city. You call upon your Kaiju and the battle begins- only be careful! Every step your Kaiju takes can destroy part of your city!
The game will have a D10 based system with chess-like combat for the Kaiju.
I'd personally love to hear people's thoughts on the concept so far!
