What to Do Next After All Documents Collected?

Hi again everyone, I'm officially at the point where I don't what the heck I can do and there is not much frankly that I can. I mean any advice is helpful at this point for a way forward.

I am eligible to apply still under the new rules through my grandparents. I am working right now on getting all of their documents and will be done soon.

With that being said, for actually trying to apply for an appointment, well I can't. Prenotami is completely broken as everyone knows.

I looked into an ATQ case and they are out of my budget.

Relocating is also not possible since I have an established life here in Canada.

I'm not sure there is much else I can do except wait for this new central thing in Rome or whatever. Idk, I'm just so upset and sad. To throw a wrench into it all, I have a child on the way towards the end of this year (YAY) but I'm not sure how or what would be the way for potentially passing it on to them or at least having them eligible in the future so, they can have Italian and European opportunities.

I know I wanted it moreso to look at buying property over there eventually.

Anyhow, any help for what I should do next would be appreciated as I am officially stuck.

Getting Over Bad Seed Starts

Hey guys, how do you get over a few failed seed starts. I did really well last year but this year I tried a different watering method where I basically tried bottom watering them in a black plastic tray and it didn't work out really well. I think they sort of survived but they are really set back. I'm really sad about it. I know I can just go to a local nursery here and pick up a bunch of wonderful plant starts for cheap but I just feel really sad like I failed, almost like my ego is bruised and I want to cry 😭

PS, thanks everyone for the well wishes. I put them outside today for a bit, and I looked and they seem to be bouncing back a bit. Might take longer than I expect but I am going to be proactive and buy some starts anyhow. Already making improvements to the system for the next batch of seeds.

Registering an Adult Child in Toronto?

I am really confused everyone. Long story short, my father is registered in AIRE right now. He is a full Italian citizen but was just born abroad in 1958 in Toronto. He hadnt updated his file in a while until I started looking into getting my citizenship.

Basically, I have his translated and apostilled marriage certificate, my translated and apostilled birth certificate and marriage certificate.

I am currently 31 as my father never registered my birth or even his marriage in Italy but the consulate did say to him to mail it in so that they can update his marriage certificate.

What registration forms and fees do I need to include in this document package so, the consulate registers me as a "late birth"? I don't think this would be a full reconstruction case and rather just an update to my fathers file and therefore the creation of mine also meaning that I wouldn't need to pay the full 600 euro jure sanguine fee.

Also my father was in AIRE when I was born in 1994 making me an Italian citizen already that is just not recognized under the 1992 law?

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate the help with my case. To recap, my father was born as a Canadian citizen to my grandparents who never naturalized and were Italian all the way through. My dad is currently an Italian citizen and is registered in AIRE but doesn't have a physical passport. All of his records in the the Italian database are up to date. He was born in 1958. He also never renounced his Italian citizenship.

My question is, what documents do I need from him if I am applying through him, yet all of his documents are up to date. The patronato said I am good to go from my side (pending my wife's birth certificate as she was born in Russia but has a Canadian citizenship - Im also not sure if I need a full notarized version of her Russian birth certificate and it being translated or if a photocopy of the original Russian one which I have is enough). My question basically is, what other documents would I need from my father and maybe even my mother? To apply for my case through the Toronto consulate. I am so confused right now as to what I need because it seems like I am due for jure sanguine case but not the typical one that you read on here. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
