(I know, it's not Q3 yet).

So we're looking at web filters due to expanded requirements from admin. Apparently an advertisement of a scantily clad woman means we need better filtering. Sigh.

I'm looking for your recommendations on the best filtering platform out there. I don't need it for off campus devices. I strongly prefer something that's locally controlled/admin'd

We run pfSense and Squid (squid is just doing authentication, so no SSL bumping currently).

An inline network content filter would be best. Mix of Windows and Chromebook here (and some iPads I guess).

Fortigate/Meraki are ruled out. While we use Impero, Content Keeper is not a fit for us.

What's the correct option for us?

Installed a panda breath, upgraded firmware from 1.0.x to 1.0.3 and bound to the printer. Everything was working fine, when printing ASA it would kick on the Chamber Heater automatically and when printing PLA, etc it would kick on the Filter Fan only.

Upgraded to 1.0.4 and next print... nothing. So I reinstalled 1.0.3 and still.... nothing.

Every time I change the firmware I have to set it up fresh (acts like it got factory reset). So it's been rebound to the printer a half dozen times at this point.

What would cause this not to work? It's set to "heatbed at 30" and right now, with PETG in the printer, we're at 70 and nothing. I've tried setting the temp to even 1 and nothing.

Manual control works (buttons turn it on and off as expected). As well, if I change the activation temp for the heater portion (default of 80) to a lower number (like 50), it kicks on. So Panda is getting the heatbed temp info.

Ideas? I've hard cycled the power on it a few times as well.
