Banned for calling out Goodmanson’s Conflict of Interest
As the title says, mods gave me a 30 day ban from r/langford for posting factual information about Langford Mayor Scott Goodmanson not recusing himself from appointing a campaign donor to the library board. They also objected to me posting screenshots of former Victoria Council Candidate Janice Williams expressing concern about stalking by Goodmanson pal, Colin McTaggart, and Mr McTaggart talking about a call from Scott Goodmanson where McTaggart talks about searching someone’s IP address (a crime in BC)
Lastly they apparently objected to me posting a screenshot of Goodmanson lying about meetings.

Westshore RCMP appeal for help
West Shore RCMP is appealing for help to locate a missing 28-year-old man last seen in Langford.
Last seen Aug. 4 in the 800 block of Hockley Avenue, Tyler Tenhunen was reported missing Aug. 5.
“Police are very concerned for Tyler’s health and well-being and friends and family report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long,” said an RCMP release.

Who is u/royalbaes and why does he have an obsession with a colwood councillor?
This new account just popped up before an election and averages every fourth post about Colwood’s Ian Ward. And being an account designed to troll, it consistently forgets where the owner lives. Sometimes Langford, sometimes Colwood (see examples). And weirdly it posts in the same obscure subs as one of Ward’s biggest haters. Coincidence? You decide.
