According to an exclusive report by Smartprix, OPPO is reportedly planning to discontinue OxygenOS on future OnePlus smartphones and transition to ColorOS globally as part of a broader software consolidation across OPPO, OnePlus, and Realme.
If true, this would mark one of the biggest changes in OnePlus history. OxygenOS has been at the heart of the OnePlus experience since the very beginning, known for its clean UI, smooth performance, and enthusiast-focused features. While recent versions have shared much of their codebase with ColorOS, the OxygenOS identity has remained a core part of the brand.
It's important to note that OnePlus has not officially confirmed this report, so for now, this should be treated as a rumor.
