Can someone please check if Shizuku still works on OOS/COS 16.1?

There is a developer option called permission monitoring that needs to be disabled for Shizuku to work after it has been paired using wireless debugging, but I have heard they have removed that option in OOS/COS 16.1 (which is version 16.0.7).

Does Shizuku still works? Can anyone who already has the update check?

Edit: Apparently there is a new developer option called "Disable system optimization" in 16.1. Can someone confirm it?

I need Shizuku since OOS/COS 16 broke desktop mode and I can fix it automatically with priviledged access. I rely on AR glasses and my phone to get work done (running a regular a Linux desktop with Termux).

Warranty Eligibility or regular wear and tear? (8 months old, UK)

Hi all,

I've purchased my OP13 directly from OP in September 2025. I've started to notice some burn in already. I am just wondering weather this is an issue that would fall under my warranty/consumer rights or wether it'd be considered regular usage/wear and tear. I contacted support via chat and they informed me a technician would have to inspect it but they also informed me if I rejected their quote I'd have to pay a 30-35 EUR fee to get the device sent back to me so I'm not sure if it's worth sending it in. Has anyone had any experience with something similar?

Oxygen OS 16.1 review

I am running the latest RC version on my OnePlus 13s and I'm enjoying the update so far. There's a few things though especially around the Notification or Quick settings sections that in my opinion need a bit of polish before the final public version. I have attached screenshots for reference.

  1. I'm on dark mode and the contrast between the Quick settings and notifications need fixing or balancing. The quick settings almost look as if I'm using light mode.

  2. I can't drag a notification capsule to expand and view content. I have to press on the tiny arrow to open the notifications. This was not the case before the update.

  3. Sound controls on the now playing tile in the quick settings use stock android theming. I feel this breaks the consistency in UI elements.

These are minor but hopefully they get a fix. Otherwise, awesome update!

SOT 100-0% after 8 months.

So I've had OP13 for 8 months, been using it at 90% battery capacity and charging when it's between 15-30% mostly, on which I get between 7-8hr of SOT. I just saw yesterday that my battery health dropped to 99%, so I decided to recalibrate it.

1st comment on this post for battery calibration. https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplusnord/s/AXXomLIJaO

This was the SOT I got after charging it fully and draining it all the way down, I must mention that the last 2% lasted about 40-45mins which I had to force drain by running two 2k videos each 15mins. at high brightness so that's more than 11hrs that I got out of it.

Just some RANT:- Also, as you would've guessed I haven't updated it to Android 16, the primary reason being that I just don't like it. The way the OS is just trying to copy paste the looks and features of IOS is just very unauthentic imo. Yeah I know I'm missing out on features "AI", but I don't really give a shit, as long as the device runs smooth and I don't encounter any bugs which fortunately hasn't happened I'll stay of this version. The second reason for staying on A15 is the battery. I plan on using this device for at least 5 years, and seeing mixed responses from people about the battery isn't really doing it for me not to mention updating would also brick the device.

Does OnePlus 13 still work with Koodo 4G Network in Canada?

As the title suggests, I just bought a new OnePlus 13 thinking it would work with Koodo, but when I went to check the IMEI on Telus' VoLTE compatibility checker it says my phone isn't compatible. Weirdly my partner's OnePlus 12 North American Model is compatible so I'm not sure why the newer one wouldn't be listed.

Does anyone in Canada have a OnePlus 13 Model CHP2655 and are with Koodo to let me know if their phone works with the 4G LTE network? Or even the 5G (Which I don't have but could upgrade to if it meant my phone would work).

I'm quite worried since I'm wondering if I just spent a ton of money for it to not work, so I'm hoping someone here might have some insight, or solutions to maybe getting around this/bypassing their network/phone checker so Koodo/Telus networks will be tricked into recognizing my phone.

Thanks! Any help is appreciated! Hoping to get the answers before I open the box since I heard that OnePlus' Return policy can be tricky.

Edit: Spelling errors.

Any green line issues ?OnePlus 13

I was considering getting this phone, possibly used.

Since I live where I don't want dealing with returning phone... I want to make sure how common are the problems like these on this phone? Can I trust the phone since it has good price?

Want to buy one plus 13

I want to buy OP 13 but not sure about curved display.

People say it is difficult to apply UV temper on it and the chances of screen damage and port damage are High during installation.

Also we need to change temper every ,6 months?

Please reply as it is the only thing stopping me from buying this phone

Oneplus 13

Hello everyone, I'm planning to buy oneplus 13 right now. 12/256 GB varient. I'm from India.

I wanna ask people who already own one, what are the cons of the device? and what troubles they have faced? How is the 6000mah battery?

I honestly wanted to buy the oneplus 15 because it looks so good but the price is too high.

Also I play BGMI a lot so is it good for gaming as well? iQOO 13 has held up well so I'm guessing it's gonna be same for oneplus 13. I am planning to place the order by Tommorow.

Be sure to carefully follow instructions when flashing roms.

I am creating this post because of the misinformation and needless hate toward roms. Yes, thee is an anti-rollback, and yes it can be dangerous, buf there are detailed guides for installing roms on the xda fourms. Be sure to ask on there to confirm the binary blobs match the latest Oxygen Os ones. If they do, then yes, using that rom is most likely safe. If not though, don't even try to flash it.

Op 13 - flash lineageos 23.2

I have a OnePlus 13 north America model (cph2655) currently on 16.05.703 (EX01), and I want to flash latest lineageos 23.2.

Questions before I try this...

  • based on my software version. Can I even flash or will it brick my phone.

  • if I ever want to revert to oxygenos whatever version. Can I do that? Where can I get the oxygenos images if I want to do this. Just asking in case I want to revert and sell the phone.
