I always thought Duncan's sike-elimination in that episode of TDA to be odd. Happened that one time and never again. At least in the TD episodes that I've watched. I wonder if that was a reference to the original plan? What do you think?

I've always heard that the popular French song is translated by lark. However, the French Wikipedia article for lark has the title Alaudidae. May someone please explain?

This is something that annoys me about Portland. Only some of the stop lights have a seconds counter. You have no idea if you have enough time to cross the street.

It would be one thing to do it if he thought he wasn't being filmed, but he intentionally did it directly in front of camera, guaranteeing he would be caught.

Talking about in person friends.

I recently left my small hometown and relocated to a city. People are very timid and unapproachable here.

13 years ago, I met someone when I was in high school who was touring a college with us fellow kids. He asked to hang out with me, but I declined. Not because I didn't want to, but because of anxiety.

I messaged him two years ago and he said that if I'm ever in the city to hit him up.

I'm into spirituality, but sober spirituality. He's really into shrooming. But still, it would be nice to have a friend.

I tried messaging him but he didn't open the message on Snapchat. So then I called him and I got blocked.

So much for that.

Well, maybe he just forgot about me? It had been two years since he made by offer. I guess I'm still hanging on to hope that he still would want to hang out if he knew who I was. But Snapchat is the only social media he uses to my knowledge.

It's Friday night and I just want to be with a friend, but I can't, cause I don't have one.

The thing is, I know that because of my desperate energy, I'm just repelling people away and making people not want to be my friend.

And the vicious cycle continues.

This fucking sucks.

In TDA, it is pretty obvious that Duncan was not paying attention to who he was voting for due to fatigue. Then, in the confessional, Duncan reveals that he intentionally voted off Courtney.

Do you think it was initially written for Duncan to write her off inadvertently? I remember reading that the confessionals were added later to add more screen time in an episode.

Plus, in the episodes following her elimination, Courtney shows no resentment towards Duncan, even cheering for him to be the winner. Completely inconsistent with Courtney as a character.

It feels to me that the writers decided to change how Courtney would be eliminated at the last minute.
