This Firefly Joins the Fight

I’ve completed all the work on my old Dragon Firefly VC kit and even built and painted a commander figure for added interest. Overall the build went along pretty well, I even used this kit to make Hessian camo which I think turned out pretty decent. The decals were a bit of a miss, most were very fragile and broke apart, but I got the ones I really cared about on there. I finished with a basic wash and filter made from AKs quick gen skin tone paints followed by some basic dirt and dust weathering, hope you all enjoy! Critiques welcomed!

Handmade Hessian Camo for 1/35 Firefly VC

It took a couple hours of work to get this to look the way I wanted to, but I think this turned out decently well and when it’s all painted up I think it’s going to look really nice on this kit. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a really long time now but have held off out of fear of how it would turn out, but ai bought this Dragon Firefly VC kit so I could finally give it a shot!

Academy MiG-29AS 1/48

Pretty happy with how this one turned out, everything seemed to want to try and go wrong right at the end, especially the decals and weathering. Just happy I was able to turn it around and salvage it still!

Season 4 Marines Unit

Really enjoying the skins from Season 4, especially the NATO skins, made some realistic weapon loadouts to pair with them.

1/35 T-34-88

Here is my take on the T-34-88, based off the photos of the tanks found in Courland. I will say this is not 100% accurate and if you look at the model close enough you will see some differences from the real tank. That being said I had a lot of fun doing this build, and the weathering and snow effects turned out a lot better than I had thought they would (especially since at one point I had to strip and repaint the model!). The base kit was an Italeri T-34-85, I modified the gun with a Trumpeter 52-K barrel and some Royal Model German T-34 stowage bins.I I was originally planning on making a small base for this, but I’m just happy with how it is now and wanted to share it, critiques are welcomed!
