No SAT going into Mays

I’m in a kind of weird spot right now. I’m currently a senior that wants to apply to Mays. I am an instate student, Here are my stats:

GPA: 7/421 (top 2%)

Unweighted: 3.91

Weighted: 4.33

ACT: 30

Classes during freshmen were mostly honors. Afterwards, all my classes were either dual credit, on-ramps, or APs.

Leadership:

SkillsUSA Chapter officer for 3 years

SkillsUSA District officer for 1 year

SLT. (Essentially, the position does community wide tours and services to the public)

Awards:

SkillsUSA Nationals 2nd Place in Restaurant service in both 2025 and 2026.

BPA Economic Research State Champion

DECA State Qualifier

some other district awards that I might put. idk, the above mentioned are the important ones.

So, I honestly don’t know if I should just shoot my shot or wait for the August SAT. I can probably get a 1350+ on it. (my psat was 1420) However, I don’t know if it’ll take too long. Rolling admissions scare me, and Mays has low slots. What should I do? does the act have similar weight to the sat?
