Lifespans

Are there any NPCs in Nazarick that don’t have an infinite lifespan, and if so, is there a plan for when they die? My first thought was about Aureole Omega, but her race is an immortal human. Aura and Mare, as dark elves, have a much longer lifespan but are they immortal? What about Éclair? Although the lifespan issues likely fall far outside the purview of what we will see by the time we get the final novels, but it is a real concern. Let me know if there are any cases of this being brought up in the novel or what characters you think would die the soonest or which would have the greatest impact on Nazarick when their lifespan runs out.

Why does the offsides rule exist in soccer?

As an occasional watch of soccer, I strongly dislike the offsides rule. Giving the other team possession or overturning goals cause a player was 2 millimeters behind the last defender is a major buzz-kill for me and my friends when we watch. I strongly believe that if the rule didn’t exist or was changed that the viewing experience would be greatly improved. Completely removing the rule would greatly change the structure and strategy of the game, but there are plenty of limitations that could be added such as only allowing one player or by setting a time limit similar to being in the paint in basketball. Let me know if y’all think that the game would be better or not if the rule was changed/removed.

Mana in the new world

Was there mana in the new world before players arrived? As far as I know, wild magic uses souls to power it. Do we know if mana even existed in the world before?

Eryuentiu world item

One of the theories I’ve seen is that the reason that Nazarick as a whole was brought to the new world is because the entire guild was within the scope of the throne world item’s effect. If so, does that imply that the Eight Greed Kings had a similar world item to have Eryuentiu be brought to the new world?

With volume 17 hopefully being finished in late 2026, I was wondering how much does the Slane Theocracy know about how screwed they are? If I recall correctly, they have encountered each other’s forces three times: the sunlight scripture vs Ainz and Albedo, the black scripture vs Shalltear, and Mare vs Antilene. As far as I know, they consider Ainz and Shalltear to be separate entities, and likely assume that if Antilene went missing then it was the work of a dragon lord. All that being said, do they even know that they are in imminent danger, and if so, how much do they know?

As a primarily anime only viewer, I am struggling to fully understand how much damage a tier 10 spell would do to a decently geared level 100 entity. If I recall correctly, players got access to tier 10 spells around level 70, and in the show, the fight with Shalltear has a time jump so I don’t have a mental concept of how many tier 10 spells a level 100 could use before running out of mp and how much damage they deal.
