Echoes Of The Forgotten Hour (Cutscene)
There are things this world was never meant to remember.
Not evil.
Not monsters.
Not gods.
Mistakes.
For years, strange incidents have surfaced across the globe. People vanishing without explanation. Reflections moving on their own. Entire documents corrupting the moment a certain name is written down. G.U.N. archives containing empty files labeled with dates that technically never existed.
Most dismiss it as paranoia, Others know better.
A hidden group has begun to emerge from the cracks of reality itself — individuals obsessed with something erased from history. They speak of a shadow lost between timelines. A being who should no longer exist, yet continues to linger in whispers, static, and shattered mirrors.
They call him:
Mephiles.
No records remain of him. No proof. No surviving history. And yet his followers continue to grow, gathering in abandoned cathedrals, underground facilities, and places where time itself feels… wrong.
Some claim they merely worship a forgotten truth. Others believe they are trying to make the world remember.
And recently…
People have started losing time. Minutes. Hours. Entire days.
As if reality itself is beginning to crack open.
“The erased shadow stirs once more.”
