What happened to the popeyes signature sauce? Not the signature hot for the wings, but the dipping sauce.

I havent seen any articles on it except for one from last July saying the sauce was a permanent menu item, but i havent been able to get any at the several popeyes in my area. They all just say theyre out and aren't getting more.
