Ex-employee now, so I haven’t actually seen anything like this in person. Are they seriously using this massive AI banner in the birthday parties? It’s horrendous. And for a craft store to not do something you know… artistic. I know Michaels has been going down the AI rabbithole for awhile, but this is something else

AC not working after cleaning service

Hi everyone! We recently had a cleaning service come to our home. They were in nearly every room of the house, and my family stayed out of the way to not disrupt them. However, after they left, our AC unit would not turn on.

We have an outdoor AC unit with one thermostat on the ground floor and one thermostat on the second floor. Both of them were set to ‘Cool’ and 71°, though the actual temperature would not go below 77-78° on either floor.

The cleaning service left around 4:30pm, and by 10:30pm, the AC unit still never kicked back on. We set both thermostats to ‘Off’ for a few minutes periodically before turning them back on to see if it would kickstart things, but left them off overnight since the it wasn’t working anyways.

This morning we turned both back on and they are now working as normal.

My family insists that the cleaning service is to blame since apparently this happened before after a prior service. I just don’t see how it could be their fault since the actual unit is outside and the cleaners never go back there.

I don’t want the cleaners to be blamed unfairly, since it doesn’t make sense to me that they could have broken anything. At the same time, I have no idea what could actually be causing the issue, especially since it’s only happened after having the cleaners in the house. Does anybody know what might be causing this to happen?
