Hello there!

I am professionally a web developer but extremely passionate about game development and wish to discuss with people who already touched the waters a bit preferably on Godot, so we can share our journey and motivate each other.

I am currently working on a 2D top-view game mixing real-time strategy and management.

The idea is to play one character and giving orders to NPCs to gather resources, grow the settlement and buy land (hexagonal zones) as you develop the automation.

I have the basic structure up on Godot with inventory management, pathfinding for the player (movements can be by clicking or WASD), and building logics (first you place a blueprint then get the resources there and it finishes the build).

I'm using placeholder CC0 pixel art resources that I try my best to edit to my needs as I'm not a good artist. Would love to get in touch with a pixel artist capable of producing resources similar to Mistward or Forager (look them up on Steam)!

I often come with game design ideas and prototypes so I use a detailed system of notes and task tracking as my imagination always come up with new things even when I'm not directly working on them.

Other than that, feel free to DM me, I use Discord and can use Stoat if preferred, will give these info by DM. Be tolerant, open-minded and fun, and we should get along well!

Fellow devs or aspiring artists, looking forward to meet you!
