Chance of approval for chase sapphire preferred?

Hello, im wanting to apply for the sapphire preferred but not sure if ill get approved.

Current income: 70k annually

Credit score: 715

I started my credit history in 2015 and up until late 2021 everything was perfect.

Due to some legal problems I wasnt able to pay on 3 of those accounts until 2025.

This is simplified break down of my credit history.

(Feb 2015 - Jan 2017) 4k co-signed bank loan, perfect payment history.

(April 2017 - Apr 2019) 23k car financed, perfect payment history.

(July 2018 - Apr 2021) 1k capital one card, perfect payment history.

(April 2021 - Aug 2021) 8k bank loan, perfect payment history.

(Nov 2025 - current) 15k co-signed bank loan, perfect payment history.

This is where the collections accounts come in.

(Nov 2020 - Oct 2021) 3k Apple card, perfect payment history until late Oct 2021 cause of legal problems.

(July 2021 - Oct 2021) 6k Kay jewelers card, perfect payment history until late Oct 2021 cause of legal problems.

I had one more capital one card that was also apart of the collections list for like 1.6k but I dont see it on my credit karma profile anymore.

Everything has been paid off in full, and they are on my credit karma as charge-off/closed. I only have the 15k cosigned bank loan, and the $550 credit limit card. My current credit score is a 715. Sorry this was alot but please give feedback thanks!

Will I get approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card with these circumstances?

I'll write a lil summary and then below ill break the credit history down into a simplified version. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks in advance!

I started my credit history in 2015 with a 4k bank loan that my parents co-signed for me. I have done very well at paying on time and handling everything for the next couple of years. In 2017 I bought a car that I financed for 23k after 5k down payment. In 2018 I had a capital one card with 1k credit limit. In 2020 I then got a Apple card with 3k credit limit. Mid 2021 i took another 8k bank loan out and also had a Kay jewelers card with a 6k credit limit.

This is where things get tricky.

Oct 2021 I got in trouble and went to jail for a year..so before jail I had a few open accounts. Those were the Apple card with 3k limit, the Kay jewelers card with 6k limit and a capital one card with i believe 2k credit limit. Having to pay lawyer fees and everything; all 3 of those accounts weren't able to get paid while I was in jail and were sent to collections. Starting life over after jail with very little money, less opportunities and a 500 credit score it was rough. In 2025 I got a good job and I got another co-signed bank loan for 15k and paid off all the debt on all 3 of those cards that were sent to collections along with child support that did not freeze while being in jail. December 2025 i applied for a card on CreditKarma, it gave me a $300 credit limit which then turned into a $550 credit limit. Haven't missed a payment or been late since opening.

This is simplified break down of my credit history.

(Nov 2025 - current) 15k co-signed bank loan, perfect payment history.

This is where the collections accounts come in.
