Shanghai recommendation

Hello my lovely community,

im again going to China for business trip and i will have free weekend in Shanghai. Last time it was on short notice and i were not able to book anything but this time i know the date.

So, can some one recommend some must try?

Up to now my plan is:
-Otto e Mezzo Bombana for lunch menu

- Tian Table for dinner

Is there any maybe one * which is really worth to check?
From my research most of them look like those big "hall" Chinese restaurant which i attend a lot because of business dinners. They were awesome without a doubt but i were already in like 20 of them.

Thanks a lot for any comment.

Paris 3 day recap

Bonjour,

im back after 4 days in Paris and i want to write some recap because i take so much from this community i want to put also something back. It will be detailed so take a coffee if you are interested :-D

Arrived at CdG with taking RER B in my mind. Wrong. RER B were just canceled without any explanation few minutes before we arrived :-D so it started well. Some lady gave us crazy instruction how to take some bus. We avoid since we were little bit in time pressure and take TAXI. Another bad decision. Our driver was completely mad. After watching our hotel adres like 5 minutes ( i want to ask him if he can even read) he put wrong adres. He drive like complet mad man also start to scream from window to another guy in car. When i realized he put wrong adres he pretend its my mistake and after putting right adres he start taxa meter. That was enought for me and i show him he will not fu** with us and i was ready to call police. Sadly we do not have time for that but this moron even ask for tip when we finally arrived :-D So it starts well. Be careful and take UBER please. Cheaper better.

We spend whole time in 1.75 Paris Le Charme. Awesome small boutique hotel. Clean big room also really quiet. Breakfast were awesome and i have no complain for hotel. Also lot of metros around.

Whole trip was surprise for my wife 30 birthday so a lot of activities were tailored to her. She is musician.

We went out of hotel around 16h. Directly this "famous" square where is place from Emily in Paris. For me skip for her awesome :-D Boulangerie Moderne was awesome. Then headed to Panteon and Luxemburg gardens.

After that we headed for Dinner to Don Juan II. It was awesome i can fully recommend that.

2nd day we started at Opera. It was so stunning we love it so much. If you love classic music this is must visit. If you are moron who came only for photo (99% people here) you can skip.
Then we take walk to Champs and Lunch at Le Gabriel. Best Restaurant we ever been to.
In evening we walk to Montmartre. It has nice vibe but the scammers and enormous amount of tourist little bit ruin it.

3rd day we went to Lunch at Madame Braisserie. Awesome view but the food was ok ish. Also skip line etc was great. Then we cruise trough the city and went for Crazy horse in evening- we both totally love it.

4th day we went to Music museum which was awesome. We were almost alone here. Then went to Le Marais. Its quarter of lines :-D there is line to almost everything it was quite funny. We went to Divvino and take wine tasting. Awesome. After dinner we headed to hotel to end our awesome trip.

Coffees i can recommend:
Coeur Coffee Roasters and Back ground- both were 10/10

Restaurants:

Don Juan II ,Le Gabriel, La Tourd´Argent,De Vie- Awesome places

Rest:

Cambridge house for Drinks and literally every place which have Caviste and Boulangerie in name were awesome. Have so much wine and Pain au Chocolate i cant even remember all of them.

We love those hidden corners. I would say every place which you do not find in in tourist guides were awesome. At another note Notre Dame? Complete skip for us. Worst place in Paris with Louvre just behind. I know i will get a lot of hate for this but it feels like pure Circusse for us.

I already plan next trip to Paris for sure. We spend so much time in those small Caviste and just hanging around with people from Paris we missed like 50% of things i have planned.

So, i hope we will came back soon.

Don Juan II (*) and Le Gabriel (***)- Paris

I want to share with you our experience from those 2 awesome restaurants in Paris

Don Juan II- Its Michelin stared restaurant on boat ! I still cant believe that.

You cruise trough Paris main land marks while you getting awesome meal and wines.
The ambient is awesome a lot of space around tables and whole place is just pure elegancy. We love it so much.

Service were awesome. Every body is smiling and trying their best i have no complain. Every dish were well presented and when they realized how much we love it becomes even better.
From my and my wife points of view the food was better then 1 star. We loved every dish and it works so well with the wine pairing. You can feel there is 3 star chef behind this.

So far flawless experience i can fully recommend that. The vibe of this place is just awesome.

Service was briliant. Again when they realized how much we want to know and how much we love food and this whole experience they opened little bit more and it was great.

Le Gabriel- for us first 3 star experience. We went for lunch and take Viree menu with classic wine paring. Also we opted for cheeses for sure and take few Champagnes which they have by glass.

We take this really seriously and it was surprise for my wife- i told her we go there like 3 minus before enter. I was so sceptic it will be really posh and we will just dont feel right here but it was just not . From first step inside every body was awesome and this place is just awesome. You can feel this is top level of hospitality.
After short stop at bar we were invited into restaurant. Elegant, easy, not overwhelming i feel so good there.
We started with champagne (of course) and since i preselect menu and pairing in my reservation we start our journey.
Food.... i have no words it was best food i ever had. Tectures, combination of layers of tastes. Incredible but simple. Not trying to be too much fancy or do some crazy staff just pure delicacy of tastes. I love it. Pairing was briliant. Every wine make dish better. Octopus dish was best dish i every had.
Finished by Krug by glass we feel like we experienced something beautiful and i will have this in my mind for long time.

10/10 experience i can fully recommend that.

On both place there were just one shocking thing for us.
I feel so shamed about not having my full suit but i tried to be as elegant as possible. Chinos, jacket, leather shoes try hard to look nice for my wife and for those awesome places. Also my wife came in dress looking absolutely stunning . Also both of those places have strictly written dress code.
There were Women's in tracksuit. Guys in simple t- shirts and running shoes. Maybe im just weird but what the Fu**. You go to place like this and you go there like for some noodles at corner? Also those people do not put their phone out of hands. Making dozens of photos and not even finishing food. That was quite crazy to see.
