Mobility Options

Hi all. We are staying about 3-4 blocks up the hill from DT Juneau next week. My husband has some mobility issues right now while he waits for hernia repair surgery and we are worried that what would normally be a pretty easy walk for us could cause some issues with the hills. Besides rent a bike or a car or uber what options are there? Seems silly to uber just a few blocks. Trying to think outside the box but my brain is tired.

New Fear Unlocked

Just saw the news article about the mother & son in PA that had a tree fall on their tent and kill them both. I’ve always laid awake thinking about the trees especially when it’s windy. Besides camping with zero shade and checking for dead/damaged trees what else should we look for as risky camp sites?

Going back to school?

I truly just cannot afford the IBR monthly payment that is to start soon. Yes I’ve applied for a deferment with no luck. I’m considering going back to school online PT at night just to buy myself some time. I have a psych/mental health background but would like to take come courses that would actually be useful in my corp field (healthcare/insurance). Has anyone tried this route? I’m unfamiliar with which online schools are legit. My employer does offer tuition reimbursement. Business? IT? I’m clueless.

I feel like garbage all the time. I have a period whenever my body feels like it. My cycle has shortened to 22 days. Periods are horrendous. My skin is a mess. I sweat all the time and it actually stinks like no deodorant is working. My anxiety is 12/10. Oh and I get period type cramps even when I’m not on my period. I’ll be 39 this year. This has got to get better…right? Right?!

I used to live for soup, salads and breadsticks. Now for $12.99 you can still ge fit but the soup is hormel level canned quality soup, the breadsticks are overly chewy like too much cellulose or something and the salad was still find I guess albeit soggy.

Le sigh.
