Rebel Update

Got new saddle bags for my 86 rebel. It makes the bike look so much better. Got a sissy bar coming in next will have to show you guys that once installed!

Also on YouTube you see people talk like this bike can barely handle the highway or isn’t worth keeping long term and this baby rode smooth as butter when It rode on it. Got it a little past 70mph and kept up with traffic no issues. This bike is so fun to ride!

Engine rebuild

So I’ve been deciding on whether I should rebuild or just completely swap out my 98 Laredo motor. Engine cranks and runs just has a loud ticking that speeds up as the RPMs Go up too. It has 208,000 miles on it.

If rebuilding the motor is a good option, has anyone ever done an in frame rebuild? I’m considering a rebuild just because I have an engine hoist I can lift it out and work on it if need to. Let me know your thoughts an ideas 💡
