Anyone else tear their ACL due to someone else’s recklessness?

Tore my ACL in late March and I’m now 16 days post op, still struggling to get over the fact that someone else’s recklessness is the reason I have to go through all this pain, do a year of PT and spend thousands of dollars while I’m still currently unable to work just to get back to where I was.

I was injured during Wrestling practice by a New training partner I had never worked with, we were in the middle of a shark tank session so I was already gassed and they proceeded to do a highly risky and unnecessary takedown attempt from behind that they ended up botching which resulted in them landing on the side of my Knee which tore my ACL and part of my Meniscus, they did apologize afterwards but I still can’t help but feel extremely bitter and resentful about the whole situation, I had just returned to sport in 2025 after going through a Labrum surgery in 2024 so the ACL tear hit me even harder than normal.

Every time I see videos of myself pre injury or even new videos of my old training partners or even the guy that injured me competing or training it just pisses me off, I know I’m not the only one who has went through something like this so I just wanted to see if anyone had some advice on how they dealt with it.

Anyone else just Cautiously Optimistic about the game

I’ve seen a lot of the discourse around it and either people hate it and think it’s gonna suck or they love everything about it and think it’s gonna be the best game ever

I’m leaning more towards the middle, On one hand the gameplay looks really good I really like the Ariel attacks and movement similar to the older games, I also think the setting and story have a lot of potential and I’m really excited to see what they do with it, but I’m also not really a big fan of the talking ribbon and cube or all the cute little creatures I think its just out of place for a GoW game, Faye as the Main protagonist isn’t my Favourite choice either, Id rather play as Kratos but Im not completely against it and am open to seeing what they do with her.

These are just my opinions as a OG fan who’s played and Platinumed every single game In the series (except Sons of Sparta) Overall I am excited and will probably get It on Launch to form my own Opinion but I’m not as hyped for this as I was for 2018, Ragnarok or Even 3

I really miss this era of racing games

The gameplay, the soundtracks and the overall vibe was always on point, Idk maybe it’s just nostalgia but I feel like we just don’t get anything like these nowadays.

Games in the Grid

Midnight Club Street Racing, Midnight Club II, Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition Remix, Midnight Club Los Angeles Complete Edition

Need For Speed Underground, Need For Speed Underground 2, Need For Speed Most Wanted Black Edition, Need For Speed Carbon

Burnout 2 Point of Impact, Burnout 3 Takedown, Burnout Revenge, Burnout Paradise

L.A Rush, Juiced, Juiced 2 Hot Import Nights, SRS Street Racing Syndicate.

This Game is still one of my favourites but I think it has a ton of missed potential particularly in the story as I think lore wise this is the most interesting time period in the Franchise, the problem is if you just play through the main game don’t mess with the side content or do some digging into the lore established in the novels, the story that is presented is kinda messy and bare bones and leaves a lot to be desired.

A potential AC3 remake can dive deeper into Haytham’s story perhaps adding another sequence or 2 as him where the events of the Forsaken novel takes place, I always found it kinda annoying how such a important moment in that timeline was relegated to a novel instead of being a part of the main game, they also can do a better job at integrating the Homestead and Naval missions in with the Main story as they add a lot to Connors overall story and character.

Gameplay wise they can interconnect the Maps making it one big open world with the Homestead and Frontier separating New York and Boston, I actually think this will be a relatively easier remake for Ubisoft as opposed to something like the Ezio games as they can just re use the Assets from Black Flag Recynced since the Original AC3 and AC4 were nearly identical in terms of gameplay and mechanics.

Overall I don’t think they should change or retcon retcon anything narratively from the main game, But I do think they should add some more depth to the story. A few extra scenes or sequences of stuff that is already canon to the universe.
