I'm an Indian passport holder with a US Green Card living in the US. I am applying for a Japan tourist eVisa through the Japan eVISA portal, and my trip is in mid-August.

I'm wondering:

• How long did your eVisa take to get approved?
• How many business days did it take from when your application was accepted?
• Did anyone applying through the New York Consulate have to visit the embassy/consulate in person, or was everything handled online?

I'd appreciate hearing about recent experiences, especially from other Indian passport holders living in the US.
