I just desperately need to read something purely fluff that ideally a happy family fic with a happy kiddo Harry or him getting rescued really young and being happy.
Any recommendations?
I always felt like their relationship is so much more developed in fanfictions than it was in cannon. The potential for so much is there but it seems like it was hinted at then forgotten until it was convenient in the books.
So what are your favorite examples of a well written Sirius & Harry bonding?
Honorable mentions of Remus & Harry bonding are also greatly appreciated.
Are there any fics that have one of the less mentioned professors playing a large influential role you could recommend?
I’ve read one where Professor Babbling became the Gryffindor head of house so McGonagall could focus on Deputy duties and want to find more unique ones like that.
There’s a cat that belongs to a neighbor down the way that’s so incredibly friendly but so matted. I can tell the owners try cause she’s got patches of short fur where other mats have been cut out. She’s an outdoor long haired cat though and just gets matted fast.
I’m hoping someone knows of a reliable groomer that can handle matting that’s also hopefully not an arm and a leg. I can’t afford to spend a ton on a pet that’s not mine but this poor thing is uncomfortable and I want to help. I’ve tried talking to the owner but he said it’s not in the budget to take her in.
I remember a longer fic that has Harry working I think at multiple shops in the alley one summer. I think it’s at least the leaky cauldron and apprenticing to a woman who ran an enchanting shop I think? Maybe he was carving runes? I can’t quite remember what it was but I think she had him working on more simple projects for customers and then made him her apprentice with a job offer the next summer I think.
Can anyone remember the name?
Is there a fic where Harry gives his blood willingly (verbally or subconsciously) during gof and it screws up the resurrection?
Does anyone else sometimes search for the oldest stories when they want something new to read?
I’ve found some of the older FFN stories specifically to be fun to check out cause a lot were written before the series was complete so while the first few books will be cannon they diverge and have interesting ways to finish off the main plot.
That’s really all I remember is that Tony stark is Harry’s parent and that caused a huge fight with Pepper causing her to break up with Tony. I can’t remember if Tony is even biologically Harry’s parent or if he adopts him for some reason.
I’ve hunted through the most popular ones on AO3 and FFN and nothing that I saw fits.
