Genesis Coupe Brembos Retrofit

Hi everyone! I’ve recently come across a fair price on a pair of supposedly good condition Genesis Coupe brembos for $700CAD on marketplace and was wondering what everyone’s experience was with them and installing them?

I’ve done a bit of research and am aware it bolts right to the knuckle and fits the oem honda brake line and banjo bolt. I know you need Nissan Rogue 3rd Row Front Rotors and should ideally use a hub centric ring to center the rotors on the hub. I know you need to o trim the dust guard a little bit as well to allow it to fit.

I also know wheel clearance is the main issue and I’m already running 20mm spacers on my oem wheels. I plan on hanging onto them for a while and cleaning them up, then installing them once I get new wheels.

Just wanted some feedback from the community whether this is a good bbk and if the swap or longevity is an issue. Thank you all!

Play In Gear with Acuity Shifter Assembly

I recently installed the acuity 4 way shifter assembly, previously having the hybrid racing detent springs and the acuity transmission linkage bushings on. I was pretty happy with the new shifter but wasn’t blown away as much as I’d thought.

I had some of my coworkers try it and one of them says there’s excessive play in gear compared to his friend (who has a FL5 with the acuity shifter) and that something may be loose.

I’m wondering what it could be? Did I mess up the shifter linkage bushings when I installed those, or did I not torque the shifter down properly?

Any response is helpful! Thank you!

Magnoli Clothiers Deluxe Jumpsuit

Hi everyone! I’ve recently been thinking about upgrading to a Magnoli clothiers jumpsuit since I’ve been running the same jumpsuit since Grade 8.

I have lots of experience with Magnoli and know their products to usually be of good quality. If you guys have a jumpsuit regardless of variation, what’s the quality like and how did you size it?

Thanks everyone!

Silvers Coilovers Installed!

After lots of research scouring build forums, reddit threads, youtube installation videos, and waiting 7 weeks for the shop to receive them. I finally installed my Silvers NEOMAX coilovers for my 11th gen FE1 Civic Si .

Spent everyday after work installing them at home. The fronts were the worst but the rears weren’t too bad. Finally got (close enough to) the fitment i’ve been dreaming of whilst being able to retain driveability with the shitty roads here.

I think I installed them correctly, and they ride pretty close to stock but a bit stiff on bumps as I set the damping pretty stiff to try and avoid rubbing.

8K default front and rear spring rate, regular height. No camber arms. Getting an alignment later this week as it doesn’t drive straight anymore even with my attempts to correct toe at home.

Hopefully I’ll love it even more and can take it for some spirited drives after the alignment, been too worried about my tires to really drive my car right now.

Install Tips for Ikon Motorsports Lip

Hi everyone! I have my lip from Ikon motorsports coming soon for my FE1, and was wondering if anyone had some tips for the install? This is the first front lip i’ve installed ever, and know you need self tapping screws and some double sided tape.

Some other lips seem to utilize the oem bumper clip holes but this one doesn’t seem to. Was wondering if anyone else has installed this specific lip and some tips on installation since I can’t find much online as it’s overshadowed by the Yofer kits.

Hi all!

Planning on ordering some Silvers' coilovers from my local shop at the end of the week, and wanted to hear everyone's thoughts about them and what their experience was like with them.

After my long and tedious amount of research trying to find the suspension solution best fit for me, I found that Silver's coilovers are the standard for most builds on the 11th gen Si platform, with a few opting to get BC Racing or other brands. Many get lowering springs, but I desire adjustability to find a balance between low enough for my preference, and high enough for daily driving. I'm planning on going with the standard height kit and standard 8k front and rear springs.

So, how has your experience been with these coilovers? How's the ride quality like for daily driving? Whats the performance like for autoX? Do you recommend coilover covers if living in a place with salty winters? Any tips for driving a lowered car?

Appreciate any feedback or insight onto the topic. Thanks everyone!
