I was wondering why the Toy Animatronics and the children Purple Guy killed in the SAVETHEM minigame just left the narrative after FNaF 3 released.

When thinking about it for a while, I then understood that:
The Toy Animatronics were not just scrapped and abandoned somewhere, they were literally dismantled, like the classics in Follow Me. This was teased in-game and in the Scott Games website.

After that frees them from their shells, the dead children of FNaF 2 just move on, instead of finding their killer.
It is crazy how Happiest Day (FNaF 3 itself, 4 and World), and Remnant with the Funtime Animatronics (Sister Location) complicated this concept so much.
