Full zone layout design advice
Hey everyone! I recently jumped back into the game and I’m having a blast.
Right now, I'm trying to map out the road hierarchy for this entire zone. Please excuse the rough drawing—I'm mainly looking for feedback on the overall distribution of the roads!
Here is the key:
🔴 Red:Highways
🟣 Purple:Arterials
🔵 Light Blue:Collectors
🟡 Yellow:Train line
🟦 Aqua Starting zone
What do you guys think of this setup? Am I scaling it out too large for the overall zone? Do you think there should be more highways or arterials?
In the past, I used to cram multiple highways and arterials into the starting area, but I’m realizing that the initial zone might just be too small for all that infrastructure.
Any advice or recommendations would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
