Warning: Think twice before working for OneForma — 2 months, wrong hours, zero support

I want to share my experience so others know what they might be getting into.

I completed over 33 hours of work across two annotation projects during the April 15 – May 14 cycle. Two months later, after chasing every channel I could find, the PM, the billing team, support cases, escalations. I finally received a PO. It calculated 6.5 hours instead of 33.

That's not a rounding error. That's most of my work simply not being counted.

What made this worse is that throughout the whole month of follow-ups, I specifically and repeatedly asked for one simple thing: tell me the amount on the PO before it's finalized so I can verify it and avoid having to dispute and wait through yet another payment cycle. Nobody answered that question. Not once.

Now I'm facing exactly what I was trying to avoid, disputing a PO and waiting for a THIRD payment cycle with no guarantee of a fair outcome.

To anyone considering working with OneForma: be warned. There is no real support system here. Emails go unanswered, escalations go nowhere, and payment issues do not get resolved. I spent two months following up across every channel available and got nothing but generic auto-replies and silence.

If something goes wrong with your payment, don't expect anyone to fix it. You will be left chasing ghosts while your hours disappear and your money gets delayed cycle after cycle.

Work here at your own risk.

No PO, no payment, no response — 17 days and counting. Anyone else dealing with this?

I've been working on two annotation projects since mid-April and I still haven't received any PO in my OneForma dashboard for the April 15 – May 14 cycle. Not a PO with incorrect hours, literally no PO at all.

Here's what's happened so far:

  • June 1: Opened a support case. No meaningful response.
  • June 6 and 8: Followed up. Still nothing.
  • Reached out to contact@oneforma.com. Got a generic auto-reply about Payoneer unlinking, completely unrelated to my issue. My Payoneer is already linked and active.
  • The payments team reached out separately saying a small number of hours were missed and will be added to a seperate PO. But I have records of over 32 hours worked across both projects. That's a massive difference.

I've done everything right, submitted my work on time, my Payoneer is active, I've followed up multiple times. But 17 days of silence with over 32 active hours of work unaccounted for is really frustrating and honestly makes it hard to stay motivated to keep working on the platform.

Has anyone been through something similar? Is there a better way to reach the right team? Any help or shared experience would be appreciated.
