Interview recommendations for HVM CVD

Hello, I’ll have an interview in the near future for HVM in PE-CVD processes. My question is on what a hiring manager would look in someone with experience in process engineering for thin film deposition but not in a HVM setting. What would bring confidence and reduce the risk for hiring someone on R&D but hands-on process focus.

Senior level interview questions

I want to know what are those questions that should be asked for senior level positions in process engineer and that interviewers expect you to ask to show seniority.

Advise for entry level PhD in chemical engineering

I’m graduating this summer and haven’t get many interviews (only one and the comments were that I didn’t show tool experience which means I did a bad job at the interview because I have a ton). I would like to know what hiring managers at OEM or fabs are looking for process/product engineers. Must I get a referral? I got one at LAM but didn’t get the HR call before they decided to reject my application. I’ve met recruiters (senior/hiring manager level) at Career Fairs, and their comments are very positive. However, I’m not understanding why I don’t get interviews.

Any help on this process is highly appreciate it.
