Feeling like my internship is being wasted in IITG. Need advice.

I'm currently doing an internship, and I'm feeling frustrated because it seems like I'm not learning much. The professors are extremely busy most of the time, and there is very little guidance or interaction. Most of my time has been spent on data collection, while the actual research or technical work hasn't really started. Since the professors are occupied, it's difficult to get responses or feedback, and I often end up waiting without knowing what to do next. I'm staying away from home for this internship, so I'm also spending money on accommodation, food, and other expenses. With only about 10 to 15 days left in the internship, I'm worried that I'm investing both my time and money without getting the learning experience I expected. I understand that faculty members have many responsibilities, but I was hoping for more mentorship and technical exposure. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you make the most of an internship when your mentor was rarely available?
