2.4 YoE in CRM/Lifecycle Marketing. Previously worked with MNC for a leading telecom client.

I Left job in December for govt exam prep, but that exam got cancelled twice. Now got an offer from a marketing agency, but policies are strict:

-No leave in the first month

- Only 1 leave/month after that and if i take more than 1 Leave they it will cut from salary.

- Immediate joining

- Salary is average.

I don’t really like the company policies, but I also don’t have any other offers right now and already have a career gap of 6 months.

Should I join for stability and continue searching later, or wait for a better opportunity?

I don’t really like the vibe, but I also don’t have any other offer right now and already have a career gap.

Should I join for stability and continue searching later, or wait for a better opportunity?

Need some advice from people in Martech/CRM domain.

I was working at MNC for Telecom Client where my work was mainly around CRM campaign execution. I used to handle SMS, Email, Push, In-App and WhatsApp campaigns end-to-end. Along with campaign execution, I also had to share campaign performance data like impressions, CTR, delivery stats, etc.

Back in December, I left my job because I was preparing seriously for the Govt. exam. The problem was that shifts were getting extended regularly and I genuinely wasn’t getting enough time to study. I tried managing both for quite a while but eventually resigned.

Then things went completely sideways. The January exam got cancelled, later the April date came, I prepared again, and then the paper got leaked and the exam got cancelled again.

After that I started searching for jobs again and recently got an offer from a marketing agency, but honestly the environment is giving very old-school “strict lala company” vibes. They’re saying:

- No leave at all in the first month except that Sat,Sun off

- Only 1 leave per month after that LOP will be there.

- Immediate joining mandatory

- Salary hike is also not that great

I’m honestly confused because I don’t really feel like joining, but at the same time I don’t have any other opportunity right now. My previous job was WFH so lower salary was manageable, but this one involves commute and strict policies too.

If anyone has openings related to Martech / CRM / Lifecycle Marketing / Campaign Operations, please let me know. Hybrid or remote would honestly be even better.

Experience: ~2.4 years

Tools/Work: MoEngage, Ab initio, CRM Operations, Campaign Execution, WhatsApp/Email/SMS/Push/In-App campaigns, segmentation, CTR/impression tracking etc.
