FygoOS development team, any plans to include mergerFS and possibly snapRaid?
mergerFS is mandatory for a home user using a mini pc such as a beelink s12 pro with a 4 bay external usb hard drive caddy for the storage pool. snapRaid would be bonus plus. I am testing FygoOS and with the trail license I am limited to 4 hard drives? I thought the trail license was uninhabited until the trial expired? As such I have not been able to properly test and evaluate the OS.
To the miniscloud OS developers. Why have you not provided the option for ext4 and btrfs? ZFS is great in an enterprise ,environment but not so much in a home NAS environment. Any plans to add them, for the home NAS users who just want a simple ext4 file share pool on their consumer grade spinning hard disks?
You did such a great job with FygoTV, why no FygoMusic app? are there plans to include a native music app that is integrated into the mobile app?
I applied and was accepted to participate in the FygoOS feedback program. I started my testing three days ago and here is what I have so far. I will submit full feedback to the official link in the invite email prior to the deadline. First, I would like to thank fygo for inviting me to participate and provide my feedback. I like to see how far I can mold things to fit my needs when they are not supported out of the box. I have it installed on a beelink s12 pro NVMe drive with an SSD as the storage pool. So far I have been able to get it to work over WiFi including a windows 11 VM instance running. When I did this I lost my connection to the docker containers however, so I am still tinkering with that. So far I am liking what this OS can do, both out of the box and with a little custom Shell work. The android app is much more polished than zimaOS. I see a lot of people comparing fygoOS to QNAP and synology and while I can understand why (due to the beautiful GUI and ease of use) I have to disagree, as this is a much more open OS. I will post more as I get more testing accomplished.
Any plans to expand the Apps library or allow user added libraries and the ability to run nested VMs?
