Speaker for Altas Headrest/ Aeron

A quick tip for those thinking to purchase the Atlas headrest speakers. Don't bother!

It looks cool and it's more integrated with the design, but it sounds about the same as your tinny laptop speakers with little to no bass, with the battery barely lasting a day.

I managed to wedge a 14-year-old UE Boom into my Aeron headrest and it's perfect!

The good news? My setup now connects via Bluetooth instantly, actually has decent bass, holds a charge for 15+ hours, works seamlessly for hands free calls, and produces good sound quality.

The bad news? It took a piece of tech from over a decade ago to expose just how weak, tinny, and unreliable the Atlas built-in unit is.

2013 tech is lightyears ahead.
