Perennial plants to bring red and orange to my pollinator garden?

Starting last fall and continuing this spring I planted a bunch of natives, other perennials, and some annuals in my front yard that used to be Kentucky Blue Grass. I’m generally pleased and the pollinators love it, but I don’t have much red or orange- and those are the colors I think would really complement my house. What little I currently have with these colors is mostly from annuals.

Can I please get recommendations for perennials and smallish shrubs that do well in part sun with lightly amended soil over our typical bad clay, and bring a lot of red and orange?

My initial ideas are Cardinal Flower (Lobelia) and Arkwright’s Campion-Vesuvius. Anyone have seeds of these or other red/orange plants to share?

Periwinkle…to keep or not to keep?

I replaced my Kentucky bluegrass lawn with pollinator friendly natives/perennials last fall and seeded quite a few annuals this spring. I noticed this periwinkle growing and acting a bit uncomfortably like bindweed. Will this crowd out all the other species I’ve planted or will it behave itself or even keep out the bad weeds? Should I leave it to spread, or get rid of it with haste? Many thanks!

Did I let my radishes go too long?

Looks like my radishes are trying to bolt. Can they still be harvested or are they better left to flower and seed?

As I get ready to plant my annual sunflowers I’ve found myself thinking it would be so much nicer to have plants with similar height and blooms that are actually perennial for my yard! Does anyone have extra Maximilian Sunflower, Compass Plant (Silphium laciniatum), Cup Plant (Silphium perfoliatum), or Heliopsis Seeds to share or trade?

I live on the west side of Denver and work near the Tech Center so I can pickup or meet most anywhere around the main metro area. Thank you in advance!
