My ASUS ProArt 5K monitor started showing vertical lines after barely a year. Really disappointed.

I’m honestly really upset about this.

I bought an ASUS ProArt PA27JCV 5K monitor around a year ago. It was a big purchase for me and something I had wanted for a long time. I saved up for it because I really wanted a large, high-resolution 5K display for my work.

Since the day I bought it, the monitor has basically stayed in the exact same position on my desk. I have not moved it around, dropped it, hit it, or damaged it in any way.

A few days ago, it suddenly started showing a thick section of vertical red lines in the middle of the screen.

At first, I unplugged the power cable completely, connected it again, and surprisingly it started working normally. I thought maybe it was just some temporary glitch. But the next time I turned it on, the same vertical lines came back.

That’s what makes this so frustrating. I invested a significant part of my savings into this monitor because having a proper 5K screen was genuinely something I had wanted for years. I expected a professional-grade monitor at this price to last much longer than this.

The monitor is still under warranty, so I’m contacting ASUS and hoping they will repair or replace it.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with ASUS ProArt monitors, especially vertical lines or panel failure?

Did ASUS replace the monitor under warranty, or did they try to classify it as physical damage?

I’d really appreciate hearing other people’s experiences before I send it in.

Model: ASUS ProArt PA27JCV
Issue: Vertical red lines in the center of the display
Age: Around 1 year
Physical damage: None

Cladium Cafe Review

Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had.
The location is quite remote, with a very narrow access road, making the journey feel unnecessary. While the ambiance is pleasant, the food quality was poor, the portions were very small, and the prices were comparable to premium restaurants like Monal or PC, which wasn't justified. The presentation and service also fell well below expectations. Even the bread was served cold, and when we asked about it, we were told they don't have their own tandoor and simply reheated it.
I would also suggest not relying solely on TikTok promotions when choosing a place to eat. Reading genuine customer reviews can provide a much more accurate picture.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend spending your money here when there are much better local options available.
