Anyone have what the final proposal (for profs) that we didn't accept before going on strike, and how that compared to what we settled for? To the best of my recollection (which might be wrong) we only gained a slightly increased bonus, which offset much of the strike list pay.
I hope SPEEA and the negotiation team is working thru the weekend to clarify and correct a lot of folks interpretation of things. Going to be annoyed if I dont see something by Monday. And actually, I would like to see the same from Boeing, and hopefully the answers are consistent!
I understand the BUC meeting will be in person on Thursday, but I was told they will be receiving the offer in advance for review. Can anyone post if they have it yet, or if not, when they will receive it?
There was a recent HR email that went to all SPEEA folks (I think) comparing 401k with other PNW companies. I sure that was sent as a start of a slow release of propaganda pre fall contract negotiations. I agree our 401k is excellent, and the data presented was factually correct, but incomplete and misleading. It assume the same base salaries at all those companies. Anyone have any real data, or at least reliable info, on how ENGINEERING salaries compare at those listed companies compare with Boeing? How about other non salary compensation in bonus, stock, etc?
