Before the Director's Cut, I commented "Give me more Melita content and my life is yours." I wasn't actually expecting to get this. This whole scene was one of my favorites in the original version and they somehow improved it.
I decided to use cheats after my first run to see all the endings without needing to savescum so I reloaded the save I made right after killing the body double at the shrine.
Turns out, the amount of content I've missed from not hitting the passive skill checks was insane. The one that hit me the hardest was the entanglement passive check about Melita. It was about how her coworkers were shocked that she got up from her desk and couldn't stop pacing in the room, something she never does. And how the only thing in her mind at that moment was CASCADE. If I wasn't convinced before that she genuinely cared about Hershel, that check alone would convince me. I can only hope that one day...they can undoom the yuri and actually be together.
I definitely need to replay it from the beginning with the cheats now. The first run allowed me to see some hilarious fails, the second run will give more knowledge and insights.
