Looking for a specific Elvis Presley interview

Greetings, Elvis fans!

I'm hoping someone here can help me find a specific interview with Elvis Presley, based on these few details I have:

  • It was published no later than 1962.
  • It was in the school paper of a Memphis high school.
  • The interviewer's name was Cindy.

This is for an non-Elvis-related research project. If anyone can guide me to the source of this interview, even if you don't have a copy of it, I'd be extremely grateful.

What was Japanese mass media really like in late 1989, when the Showa emperor was dying?

I've read (and heard from Japanese people, when I was there in the mid 90s) that during the emperor's illness, TV stations stopped showing comedies, and radio stations all just played the national anthem over and over again, and the culturally the whole country just sort of slowed down. I've also read that the lack of other entertainment options led directly to the rise of video rental stores. For anyone who remembers this time period, what was it really like, especially radio and television?

Did entertainers like Shimura Ken really stop doing comedy? What was on TV?

Is it true about radio stations playing only the national anthem?

What was New Year's like?

I'm interested to hear thoughts and memories from those who lived through this period.
