Local narcissistic abuse recovery group has a couple openings
I wanted to share a local resource in case it helps someone here.
I’m a counselor in the OKC/Edmond area, and I run a closed treatment/support group for survivors of narcissistic abuse and relational trauma. We currently have a couple of openings after a few group members recently "graduated" and are no longer in need of any services.
This group is for people who grew up with a narcissistic parent and/or may technically be “out” of a narcissistic abuse relationship but still feel stuck in the aftermath — second-guessing themselves, self-isolating, feeling shame, little-to-no self worth, having trouble trusting their own judgment, struggling with boundaries, or continuing to end up in one-sided/narcissistic relationships.
One of the reasons group work can be so helpful for this is that many survivors feel like no one really understands unless they’ve experienced the same kind of dynamic. The group gives people a confidential place to work through those patterns with others who get it, while also getting specific treatment for the underlying problems, and learning practical skills like assertiveness, boundaries, needs-monitoring, conflict tolerance, and cognitive restructuring.
It meets Thursday evenings in okc. It’s closed, confidential, and screened beforehand.
