His size and length has proven to be difficult to deal with, especially at 170. PFL continues their trend of picking up former UFC fighters with the signing of Ketlen Viera. Interestingly, Viera competed in the Bantamweight division in the UFC, yet PFL currently does not host anything but a Flyweight division. Do we see Viera make the cut to 125 for the first time in her career at 34yo, or is this hinting at an expansion of the PFL’s opportunity for Women’s MMA?
Javid Basharat comes to the PFL after a very solid UFC career, going 4-2-1 and only losing to very good opposition. Who does he make his PFL debut against, and how quickly does he insert himself into the title picture?

The current champ, Costello Van Steenis, is out of his rematch with Johnny Eblen due to injury, and in steps Impa Kasanganay to take on Eblen for the #1 contender spot.
Eblen won the first bout via a split decision back in 2024, but who takes the rematch?
3-0 week. Having an awesome time keeping up with combat sports outside of just UFC, and making some extra cash while doing it. Wrestling, BJJ, MMA, being a fan (and a sports bettor) becomes more fun when you follow more than just the UFC.

PFL making some big moves in Bantamweight. Lewis McGrillen getting a huge opportunity to insert himself into the top of the division, while Daniel Marcos getting added to the PFL after the UFC didn’t renew his contract is extremely interesting, we’ll see how quickly he gets a title shot at 18-1. Will be awesome to see how all this unfolds!!
