What is up with cyclists in Geneva

I’ve gotten into cycling lately and most of my rides are just commuting to school and back around Geneva. One thing I genuinely don’t understand is how many cyclists completely ignore red lights .

Even when there’s a bicycle specific traffic light, and even when cars are clearly coming from other lanes or turning at intersections, some cyclists still squeeze forward to the absolute last centimeter possible and then just go through anyway

Is there some kind of cycling culture/rush I’m not understanding or are people just impatient? Because I always feel embarrassed waiting properly at the red light while everyone else rides past me like I’m doing something wrong. I know I’m not doing anything wrong, but I don’t understand why everyone is always in such a hurry I’ve seen so many cyclists almost hit pedestrians because they couldn’t wait an extra 30 seconds.

And also why are motorcycles constantly in the bicycle lane or in the bike waiting zones at traffic lights? I almost got hit by a car because I didn’t have enough space at the front of the line to position myself properly for a left turn. The motorcycles had taken up the whole area and when I started moving out the car almost didn’t see me in time..

Can’t find my hole

I’ve never made a post like this before but I have nowhere else to ask for help.

I’m a virgin and so is the guy I’m with, and we decided we wanted to finally have sex. We tried about two weeks ago and he couldn’t find the hole at all. He asked me to guide him but the problem is… I couldn’t find it either. Today we tried again and spent like 40 minutes trying and failing and now I just feel embarrassed and stupid for not knowing how my own body works.

I really want to do this but I genuinely don’t know where I’m supposed to be looking. I’ve seen people say “it’s lower than you think” but I still have zero idea. I’m really hoping I’ll be able to get some advice from you guys cause we’re gonna try again tomorrow.🥲

How do French people decide the gender of English words?

I feel like recently French people have started to use so many English words, especially younger people/slang, and I genuinely wanna know how the gender gets decided

For example, who looked at the words “game”, “job”, “fake”, “date”, etc and decided that’s masculine/feminine even though the English language doesn’t do genders

Is there actual logic behind it?

I’m 16 and I just finished a ride, and I’m not sure if I went too hard or if this is normal.

Here are my stats:
- Avg heart rate: 171 bpm
- Max heart rate: 195 bpm

Heart rate zones:
- Z5 (>185 bpm): 20%
- Z4 (167–184 bpm): 42%
- Z3 (149–166 bpm): 26%
- Z2 (113–148 bpm): 12%
- Z1: 0%

The app said I spent most of the time in threshold and anaerobic zones and called it a high-intensity session.

I didn’t feel like I was dying, but it was definitely hard.

Is this kind of effort okay for my age, or am I pushing way too hard?

Thanks
