Strike? Questions

I seem to have read / understood that our union supports SEIU and their apparent upcoming strike. We also have received information that a “sympathy strike” is ok, despite language in our MOU to the contrary.

Could anyone in the know please help me understand how a strike works if I am the handling attorney on a case with active deadlines / appearances?

I have numerous matters in litigation and my calendar is busy until June 2027, so a sympathy strike and missing work would be complicated.

Does CASE have any suggestions / thoughts on how one should handle striking when there’s a CMC on calendar or when discovery is due? Is CASE suggesting I engage in arguably sanctionable and/or unethical conduct in order to strike?

Should I be worried?

New roof as of May of 2025. New roof vent installed. Upper left area of roof vent appears elevated with the shingles. Bottom right the metal part of the vent appears bent upwards?

Photo head on. Left side. And right side.

I think I know the answer, but what am I looking at and what are the fixes, if necessary?
