Can you picture as a Best Director lineup with not one but two duos? (Lord & Miller for Project Hail Mary and Los Javis for The Black Ball)
reddit.comBased on what we know so far, who should acquire The Black Ball for US distribution?
reddit.comFavorite on-screen friendship between old and young
reddit.comFavorite TV show creator/writer/producer who has a boatload of shows with their name on it
The poll would only let me give six options. Anyone who isn't one can be put in the comments section.
A 007 with 000 name recognition?
What if Amazon MGM decides to go with an unknown?
How many currently relevant young Brits are there who have the suave factor, can be able to say, "Martini -- shaken, not stirred," in a way that doesn't sound laughable and whose potential casting won't be met with universal derision?
While there have been many movies that flopped financially because they starred people who lacked high name recognition, this shouldn't be a problem for a Bond flick.
Movie you haven't seen that made you wish Netflix still had DVD rentals?
reddit.comHas there ever been a movie that featured a food in it that gave you an eagerness to eat it?
reddit.com96th Oscars Imaginario
At the time of the 96th Oscars...
- A foreign flick didn't earn automatic qualification by winning any of the five awards it would've needed to win in order to do so (excluding the Best Film Award from Busan, which had yet to exist)
- Barbie didn't make the shortlist for Makeup & Hairstyling, its screenplay was ultimately deemed adapted, and only two out of three of its original songs that made the shortlist could ultimately get nominated.
- "Peaches" didn't make the shortlist for Original Song.
- Oppenheimer didn't make the Top 20 cut in VFX.
- The casting and stunt categories weren't in place.
Now imagine all this being the other way around [and with Oppenehimer making the VFX shortlist]. Okay, I will!
Winners in bold.

In 1993, not one but two actresses earned dual nominations. Were there ever any other years in which you think this should have happened, whether male or female?
reddit.com2026 - Variety Special Writing
As is tradition, the honor for writing for a variety special is handed out the regular ceremony in even-numbered years. I'm not seeing anyone discussing who might get in, so I'm creating this thread to provide that opportunity.
