I’m a US citizen, but I’ve lived outside the US for most of my life. I’m currently in Germany, and because of a new rule that affected the BBS program I was in, I’d now need another two years here to graduate. It basically set me back a lot and messed up the path I was on.
That’s why I’m thinking about going to the US for one school year instead. I’d like to stay with a host family, go to a public high school as a senior, and hopefully graduate there.
I’m not really sure if this is even possible since I don’t currently live in the US, so I’d really appreciate any advice from someone who knows how this works or has been in a similar situation.
