Now that the movie is available to stream I feel like people can figure it out a little better. I saw that the subtitles just say “indistinct, distorted speech”. I’ve heard people say multiple things… but I can’t really tell. Just curious.
Im a 25 M and this 14 yr old girl is trying to hit on me. Let me be clear I DONT WANT ANYTHING WITH HER. I have already said I don’t want anything but she wants to “just be friends”. She tried giving me a bestie necklace and I refused to accept it. I promptly left the scene as to not give her more fuel. Shes at the age where her hormones are going crazy so I understand why she’s acting like this. So here is the question. What other things can I do to make it clear nothing is going to happen without destroying her confidence or making it seem like I hate her?
Edit: Thank you for the helpful advice. This just happened today and I wish I could avoid her entirely but its my friends little sister and well they hang out and live together. Im sure she will grow out of it. I will be having a conversation with her parents just so that they are aware of the dangerous behavior. Thank you again.
Edit 2: For those saying “don’t go to their house”, I have never been to their house and now I don’t plan on going to anytime soon. This was at a public event and I was never alone with her at any point. I quickly left once I realized her feelings since she was asking me if I had ever been in a relationship. This just seems like a short term crush but I can’t help but notice how dangerous that behavior is. She doesn’t know anything about me and I will keep it that way. I told her family and they are very much aware but I don’t feel like they are taking it seriously. They just said that she’s “around that age of youth”. Not much I can do about that. Thank you for those who were, kind, respectful, and reasonable. I hope this helps someone else if they were to find themselves in a similar situation.
Edit 3: I realize my first edit was straight up terribly written. I can definitely stay away from them, thats not a problem. The reason is that friend will occasionally bring their sister and I can’t control when the little sister shows up at public events. I made it seem way more unavoidable than it really was. The purpose of the post was what ELSE I should do aside from avoiding her. Im still learning how to express myself and being able to vouch for myself, which are valuable lessons. Thank you again.
I thought the movie was good. Its not the best movie ever made but do movies have to constantly overdo one another? I don’t think so. The story and message was nice and heartwarming. Makes you think about connecting with others irl and if you stay true to yourself you can find the right friends. It didn’t feel like a movie that shouldn’t exist. It was funny, emotional, and visually amazing. What are your overall thoughts? What was the good? What was the bad?
This movie was just all over the place. With the constant use of bad CGI, ridiculous plot holes, and a complete lack of depth, this movie almost seems like a parody. Im not the type of person to point out flaws during the movie, but this movie had so many it was hard to ignore. So I was wondering since apparently this movie has “good ratings” what did people actually like about it?

When Bear calls the number on the OWW the employee lets him listen to the real Nikki and she is just screaming like she is in excruciating pain. My personal take on why is a combination of physical and psychological pain. Her body is pretty messed up because of how FN (freaky nikki) is using it. Not to add she has plenty of injuries that have had zero medical attention. FN doesn’t seem to be in any pain whatsoever so it seems to me that Nikkis real soul receives all of it. Yes I realize she gets way more injured after the call but I think it still stands that FN isn’t taking care of her body. Which makes sense because FN is supposed to love Bear more than anyone in the world even above herself.
Second, psychologically. Her body is doing things she wouldn’t normally do. And her obsession, pardon the redundancy, makes it so that all she thinks about is Bear. Her dreams, goals, and personality were completely stripped and replaced with something hollow and broken. Such a dramatic change from an otherwise healthy person would cause extensive psychological pain. Or maybe it’s a little simpler and the pain/suffering is just the consequence of taking something that shouldn’t even be possible to take: someone’s free will.
