I just finished WUTLH. I’m sure that this has been brought up before but is it possible that Eve never left the cabin/old house in the woods and that everything that happened after she entered the old house was just the old house tricking her into staying and becoming trapped?
I want to preface this by saying that I acknowledge everyone is different and what works for me won’t necessarily work for others.
With that said..I started Tret last October. I’m 50 and have sensitive, oily/combination, acne prone skin. I started mainly for anti aging benefits. Before starting I was getting pretty good results using retinol at night and PC 2% BHA liquid exfoliant in the morning. My skin loooooooves salicylic acid and was nice and clear before starting Tret. I started Tret with .025% a few times a week and have slowly built up to .05% nightly. I realized pretty quickly that I wasn’t able to tolerate both Tret and the BHA (even once a week) and had to drop it from my routine. This unfortunately led to my skin progressively becoming congested again (even with the Tret). Last week I decided to give the PC 2% BHA exfoliant in lotion form a try and so far I’ve been tolerating it really well and the surface level congestion I was experiencing is quickly improving. I think the lotion is gentler and more hydrating than the liquid and that’s making all the difference.
So if you like a BHA exfoliant but can’t tolerate the liquid versions with Tret try a lotion format 🙂.
