Working in infrastructure for private equity company. Will be eligible to participate in carried interest & Co-Invest scheme soon. Believe need to invest in Co-Invest to be eligible for carry. Still relatively new to PE, but have you seen carry pay off, ie is it worth sticking with one company for 5-7 years to earn potential said return? Any other tips, any specific sectors that do better in this than others etc

Work for a PE business in Finance team mid level. Our firm is looking to sell a minority stake up to 20%. Has anyone had experience in this? Do they typically go badly or does it depend on the buyer? Essentially want to know should I be worried about my role, will the business be the same or will they want to bring in their own team or look for ROI etc.
