Hey everyone

I'm trying to put together my first 2k list. I have been buying some models I love but I want it to be competitive enough to be brought at the game store. And with the release of SoA I think it's time to buy some bones.

So I currently have Soulmason, and I love him so much. So my idea was to add the SoA Vokmortian to the roster. That said, I quite love the new Banner and I feel like obligated to play Boneshaper. I guess I could swap wizard depending on the artefact I play but I wanted to ask you if you'd consider 3 wizards without katakros.

I like the cavarly really much, and I was thinking of having Zandtos/Liege as general. So for that regiment I'll need 10 horses. How do wizards play with kavalos?

The rest of the models I own are a reinforced unit of Morghasts, Harvester, 3 stalkers and 40 mortek guard (bought too many maybe). Also endless spells.

Could you please help me with the list? Is it a bad idea to play all 3 wizards?

It has been my 3rd game today. 1300pts (all I could assemble for now), and he was playing Karadon overlords. It felt really hopeless standing there tanking all those shooting. Tilted to the point of wanting to quit.

There was close to no terrain, but this is a thing I want to ask. How are battlemaps designed? How many pieces of terrain are we meant to place? How big? Is it quantified somehow? We has 2 small covers and small temu printed ruins.

Also the obscuring rule. I know it exists but we havent applied it yet bc of the lack of terrain I guess. How does it go?

I'm still trying to understand some things about rules. If I am playing with the new ossiarch rules, can I play with Scourge of Ghyran mortek guards? I've seen some lists with them, but Idk.

Also the spells. I want to play a list with 3 wizards so I can make up my lack of shooting during hero phase. I've seen spells in the Scourge of Ghyran expansion, and I have the same doubt. Can I play them?

Hey there,

So I recently picked up this hobby, and after painting my 1000points army and playing once, I noticed I played with the old rules.

In the new rules, there's this thing about kavalos deathriders that bothers me. If I'm right I can't pick zandtos with their abilities, and only triggers with Liege-Kavalos. Am I understanding something wrong? Or this ability is ass?

Like, I was about to buy zandtos and 10 horses but I'm not sure its better than Liege-Kavalos. Should I buy Liege instead of Zandtos?

I was really hyped understanding the rules and warscrolls, and reading the new warscrolls make me want to cry really

Any tips on actual playstyle? Changing faction is an option xd
