Let's be the Food Network!
I'm Bobby Flay. I'm EVERYWHERE.

I'm Bobby Flay. I'm EVERYWHERE.
He's a former preschool teacher turned comedian turned advocate, and his Satan/Jesus videos skewering MAGA are (IMO, anyway) hilarious.

The live shows start tonight (Aug. 18).
I hope the Hundred Fingers magicians advance — their act is incredible.
Did you start a legendary thread?
Originate part of the DL lexicon?
Have an obscene amount of WWs?
Or will you simply live on in infamy through your former authenticated (or not) screen name?
Share your greatest DL achievement(s) here!
Did anyone watch her first night?
Also, is it just me, or does she look a bit like a much older Brandi Carlile in the article photo above?
Do you find reality shows entertaining? Stupid? Offensive?
All of the above?
None of the above?
Are there any you love? Any you haaaaaaate?
Discuss.
If so, why?
If not, why not?
Yes, I know we did these threads to death over the years at DL, but they've all been lost to the sands of time now. So, I figured we could start anew!
Whom did you encounter and why was it memorable?
Edited to correct the list.
Stephen Colbert regularly posed these questions to select celebrity guests on his talk show. What would your answers be?

3. What is the scariest animal?
4. Apples or oranges?
5. Have you ever asked someone for their autograph?
6. What do you think happens when we die?
7. Favorite action movie?
8. Window or aisle?
9. Favorite smell?
10. Least favorite smell?
11. Exercise: worth it?
12. Flat or sparkling?
13. Most used app on your phone?
14. You get one song to listen to for the rest of your life (it doesn't play constantly on a loop, but anytime you go to listen to music, this is what you'd hear): what song is it?
15. Describe the rest of your life in 5 words.
Who was it, and when?
TV? Movies? Broadway? Politics? Sports? Travel? Dollface? Personal stories/advice? Something else?
Which ones were your immediate go-tos when you checked in, either as a poster or a lurker?
I know it's terrible. I know it's highly manipulated by production. I know there are far better things I could be doing with my time. But I still watch every summer.
This year's time-travel gimmick may be the lamest one yet, IMO. Especially with the "acting" it requires from the cast.
And that's saying something, given BB26's AI/AInsley theme. (I did like Jankie, tho.)
Anyone else tuning in? Let's discuss!
But first...
A DL-throwback companion thread for the mornings.
In honor of Julie Andrews’ recent announcement that she’s retired from screen acting, which role was your fave: Maria von Trapp or Mary Poppins?
Lettuce continue the DL tradition.
Every time I see the show title, I think of DL.
And it co-stars DL fave Froy Gutierrez.
Doesn't have to be a new release, just a film -- watched in a theater or at home -- you thought was fantastic.
Something most people don't notice/don't care about, but drives you nuts?
For me, typos in subtitles, especially the ones that seem to be rampant in AI-generated subtitles for videos posted online.
You're given the opportunity to spend two hours over lunch at your favorite eatery, one-on-one with a (still living) celebrity. Meal and chat only, tho, no sex.
Whom do you choose and why?
As a maximalist, I sometimes look at elements of an "ugly" home's décor and think, "OMG I ACTUALLY LOVE THAT."
I also enjoy the offshoot series, "Scariest House in America," which runs in the fall. I applaud Retta for venturing into some of those creepy places.
