Hit a huge pothole on the Queens Midtown EXPWY, dented both rims and a flat in the rear
Hit a huge pothole on the queens midtown expressway just before Maurice Ave as the expressway goes over Calgary cemetery, it jarred the shit out of me and I’m lucky I didn’t lose control. Both rims are dented, particularly the rear, and the rear tire went flat. Has anyone had any luck getting anything from the city after something like this? I’m trying to figure out whether that’s worth looking into or if I should just buy new wheels and tires and switch em over. Sucks, my bike will be out of commission for a while.
