I was thinking about introducing CYOAs to some friends of mine, but then I realized I don't quite know how to describe what they are exactly. How would you describe what a CYOA is to a new person?

So, I'm trying to do an assignment about UV Unwrapping over a humanoid model I created. According to an instructional video my professor provided me, I have to select the chest of my model, go into the UV Editor, and make a Camera-Based Selection.
However, when I did that, the selection I got in my UV Editor was split into 2 halves, as shown in the video. But in my professor's example, the selection he got in his UV Editor was 1 single piece.
Does anyone know what I did wrong? What can I do to make sure the Camera-Based Selection in my UV Editor is 1 piece instead of 2? I can't follow the rest of the video when my model is too different from my professor's example.
