I would just like to post and update and thank the AloAtelier community for helping me acquire a replacement 90's Claw Clip in Candle-Light-Yellow for my girlfriend. It was a lucky coincidence that the clip had a partial restock, and u/Fluid_Minute6736 saw it and thought to comment about it. (thank you again)
I would also like to share my experience with Alo support both via email and in store. After responding to the first *likely* AI generated response, I was taken care of by multiple different support staff. They even ended up offering a discount code, and as luck would have it I was able to use that on the purchase of the replacement clip. This is not my first time dealing with Alo support, and both times now I have had nothing but good things to say. I just wish that my Alo retail store account and online account were not different, but Im unsure if thats a Canada thing or a Alo online vs in store thing. Anyways, thank you all!
I recently have gotten my girlfriend into alo, and at some point purchased her a 90s Claw Clip in candle light yellow, which became her favourite claw clip. The claw clip has since been miss placed, and I cannot seem to track it down anywhere on the used market, and it is *I would assume* long gone from stores...
I was wondering if you guys had any advice, other than to regularly check facebook marketplace and ebay...
Thanks
I’ve seen some sentiment lingering in the Reddit that people miss the days of LTT Jank, and I for one agree. I want to see interesting work arounds and things that technically shouldn’t work, be executed anyways. I don’t need to see a video about Ubiquiti sending you replacement chargers and then hiring somebody else (not even Brian the electrician) to install them…Like come on guys at one point you route your own flipping water block! That was *flips through notes* 8 years ago… Eitherway as a sub since 2012 & a floatplane subscriber, I miss Jank builds. If you feel the same way share your favourite videos below! Mine is this one!
For those of you who miss Jank, both Jake and Alex/Andy’s new channel(s) have plenty of it. Also buy Nick his Rivian(maybe they did idk)
